We are an artist space and studio offering a variety of art experiences, workshops and tutorials in a calm, peaceful atmosphere. The studio is set in the heart of the village but enjoying a quiet space where creativity can thrive. We also hold occasional pop up sales selling locally made handcrafted items and artwork.
NEW WORKSHOPS Visit the Workshops page for details! Jana is back with a new Silver workshop - Silver Pebbles, an opportunity for you to melt down and recycle your old bits and bobs of silver. Another new workshop provider has just joined us, Sam from Hare & Moon Jewellery who is doing Silver Clay workshops has added two new dates 9th May and 4th July. Also just added, Jenny is going to teach PAPER MARBLING as well as her beautiful Block printing, Resin, Plaster Relief and Cyanotype workshops. Can't wait!
Our next Pop Up shop is over the first May Bank Holiday weekend, which coincides nicely with the Ash Art Exhibition and Sale in St Nicholas Church just over the road - between our two venues, there will lots of exciting art and craft to see and buy over the three day weekend.
Art Group Spaces available on Wednesday afternoons 1-3pm a fun session where Alison guides and facilitates your artistic 'me-time'; currently there are participants focusing on acrylic painted landscapes, watercolour illustration and card painting whilst others are brushing up on their observational drawing skills. £15 per session.
Studio open at other times by appointment 07856 080517 to view studio owner Alison's own work or pop in if you see her inside, she may be working at her easel and will be happy to chat about her process and discuss her work.
We offer many different art and craft workshops so there are lots of new things for you to experience - if they are not in the current programme, please ask if you would like to organise one for a group. Examples are Silk Painting, Spoon Carving, Sea Glass Silver Ring making, Junk Journaling, Calligraphy, Watercolour, Wet Felting, Linocut, Fused Glass, Cyanotype, Resin, Plaster Relief, Block-printing and Mono-printing! Keep checking in because more workshops are always being added
