STAINED GLASS Sunday 3rd November - Stained Glass Day Workshop
For beginners or those who may have some experience.
We will spend the day making a larger piece in your own choice of colours: leaf suncatcher, shoal of fish on wood, hummingbird on wire or if you’re in that festive mood, an angel. For those who have done it before here is also the option of making a piece of your choosing (patterns should be agreed with Fiona in advance).
This is a small group of five students and the day will be taught by Fiona and Anna of Hadwin Creative. All materials included. £100. Please bring a packed lunch. 10am – 4 pm. One space left!
STAINED GLASS Sunday 17th November Stained Glass Xmas Decos – Day Workshop
Suitable for beginners.
Enjoy a day of crafting and learn the stained glass copper foil technique. We will be making Christmas tree decorations, and most students will take home 2 -3 pieces of work. This is a small group of five students and the day will be taught by Fiona and Anna of Hadwin Creative. All materials included. £100. Please bring a packed lunch. 10am – 4 pm. Fully Booked. NEEDLE-FELTED GNOME with Fascinating Felt. Saturday 9th November, 1.30-3.30pm, £35. Suitable for beginners over 12 years to try this mindful and relaxing craft. All tools and materials will be provided to make your very own Gnome in time for Christmas.
SILVER BANGLE MAKING Sunday 10th November, with Jana Brejchova, 10am-2pm £60. An exciting new bangles workshop where you can make as many bangles as you want. You will learn techniques to cut, bend, solder, texture, shape and more to create a beautiful bangle. The workshop is approximately 4 hrs long and costs £60 which covers your first bangle and all tuition etc (additional changes apply for extra bangles, starting at £20). A deposit of £20 is required to secure your space on this workshop.
BLOCK PRINTED LAVENDER BAGS Saturday 16th November, with Jenny Samuels, 2-4pm £35. Create your own blocks then print and create delightful lavender bags, to gift or keep yourself!
LEARN TO KNIT a three week course with Bev Murton, Tuesdays 26th November, 3rd and 10th December 10am - 12 noon, £70. Come and learn the basics of knitting, needles and wool provided.
BLOCK PRINTING FOR CHRISTMAS Saturday 7th December, with Jenny Samuels, 2-4pm £35. Create your block prints to use on coasters, baubles, tags and cards, all materials provided.
MONOPRINTING with Alison Craddock, Saturday 1st February 2-4pm, £40 - learn this exciting method of creating beautiful artworks, a very easy cross between drawing and printing.
SPOON CARVING FOR BEGINNERS groups of 3 or four, on request.10am-3pm, £75. Carve your own spoon using green wood, with woodcarver James Robertson of Wuud Carving. All instruction, tools and materials will be provided for you to create your own unique wooden spoon. Suitable for anyone over 16 with reasonable wrist and hand strength.
Workshops will take place in the studio with plenty of ventilation. All workshop attendees are asked not to attend any event with any cold symptoms. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided but if your workshop runs over the lunch period, we suggest you bring a packed lunch.
