LINOCUT Saturday 16th May 1.30-5pm £45, with Alison. You will learn the basics of linocut, from design through to cutting and printing your image. All materials provided. Suitable for beginners.
JUNK JOURNALING Thursday 21st May 7-9pm £20 with Jooles. Another buzzing evening of fun, this is going to be a bee themed evening learning new techniques and creating pages for our Journals. To book email Jooles at namastebyjp@gmail.com
OIL PAINTING - STILL LIFE Friday 22nd May, 1-4pm, £45 per person. Have you ever felt a bit intimidated by oil painting? Qualified Art Teacher and practising artist Jeri Kennard, a specialist in oil painting still life, will guide you step by step, showing you techniques while giving you space to explore and enjoy the process. You'll leave the workshop with skills and confidence you can build on. BOTANICAL RESIN WORKSHOP Saturday 23rd May, 2-4pm, £40. With Jenny, you will create resin pieces, using pressed plants and natural pieces (or any small flattish object/treasure you want to bring yourself) to embed in a key tag, pendant, bookmark or coaster.
MODERN CALLIGRAPHY Thursday 11th June, 7-9pm, £40 with Bliss from Spellbound Inks. Learn the basics of modern calligraphy by practicing different strokes and pressure techniques in this lovely relaxed workshop. Suitable for beginners and people looking to refresh their skills. All materials provided.
CYANOTYPE PRINTING Saturday 27th June, with Jenny, 11am-1pm £35. Use the power of sunlight to create beautiful cyanotype images.
MARBLING ON PAPER Saturday 18th July, with Jenny, 2-4pm £35. Learn how to create beautiful and unique marbled papers.
Tea/coffee and biscuits provided but if your workshop runs over the lunch period, we suggest you bring a packed lunch. All materials for workshops are provided, unless otherwise stated. NB Please note, we ask that participants refrain from attending workshops with any cold or flu symptoms - we will of course provided a refund or transfer to a future workshop.
