BOTANICAL BAS-RELIEF PLASTER WORKSHOP with Jenny Samuels, Saturday 8th November 2-4.30pm £40. You will create beautiful botanical bas-relief pieces, inspired by nature. These will be completed ready for you to take home your stunning plaster relief panel to proudly display.
CERAMIC BAUBLE PAINTING WORKSHOP with Bliss Wilson (Spellbound Ink Signs) Saturday 15th November (2pm-4pm) £40/person (hot drinks and light refreshments provided).
Suitable for everyone, no prior painting skill required! Paint and personalise your own ceramic baubles (up to 3 per person). You will be guided through the process of painting and adding detail before personalising your own ceramic baubles. If you’ve heard of the very versatile POSCA pens, this will be an opportunity to test them out and find out more about the kinds of projects they can be used for.
SILK PAINTING Wednesday 26th November at 10am/ Friday 12th December at 1pm
Join silk painting artist Laura Hollis for a relaxing 2.5 hour silk painting workshop. £45 per person. You will first practice and experiment on a stretched piece of silk before designing and painting your own 7 inch suncatcher, (bring you own design or use designs provided), as well as painting a ready printed design for a card. CHRISTMAS CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP with Bliss Wilson (Spellbound Ink Signs) choose Friday 28th November or Friday 5th December. 7-9pm £40/person please (glass of fizz, hot drinks and light refreshments provided). Suitable for beginners and people looking for a refresh in the basics of beautiful lettering. you will practice basic strokes and pressure techniques and explore how to create lettering forms with a special Christmassy theme. Free calligraphy kit and a high quality blank card to take home ( 1 x dip pen, 1 x ink pot, practice sheets, high quality card). MAKE A FELT FLOWER BROOCH with Josie Chisholm. Sunday 7th December, 2–4 pm £40 per person — all materials included. Join us for a cosy, creative afternoon making your own hand-rolled felt flower brooch! Under Josie’s warm and friendly guidance, you’ll learn how to work with soft merino wool to create a beautiful, unique brooch - perfect as a Christmas gift or a special treat for yourself. Perfect for Beginners. Includes 7g clay and findings to complete your piece(s) e.g. necklace and ear wires. Access to all tools needed to make your jewellery. Fun, friendly and hands on.
